'Obsolescense Part 2: The Anchor' is the 2nd album from Scottish ambient artist Lone Man Dead.

This album sees a progression of the electronica/ambient sound from his debut record 'Obsolescence Part 1: The Engine' adding layered elements of dark country, industrial metal and trance, to create a broad and unusal soundscape.

The story is a continuation from the 1st record which thematically sees a man reborn on the moon after dying, wandering alone until he climbs a metal rope which connects the moon to the Earth. 'The Anchor' casts a light on the struggles in life which make us human, and how we can rebuild ourselves to become stronger along the way...
